![]() ![]() If you download KOreader on a Kobo, you will get a lot more customization, and the screen is overall sharper. This sub seems to really love Kobos, so I think I am in the minority. Also, I highlight a lot while reading and the highlighting on Kobo sucks imo. I find that I like the texture of the Kindle much better than the plastic on the Kobo (I don't use a case). I currently have a PaperWhite 11 and Clara 2e, and I'll be returning the Kobo soon. What have others here bought, and how do you feel about your Kobo or Kindle? What would you suggest? I'm looking for a pretty simple e-reader-lightweight, with no extra buttons and not large in size, but I'd really like it to be quite legible and easy to look at. At the same time, I have a bunch of old books I bought on Kindle-can those be converted to Kobo? I personally like how the Kindles look, but having to convert files constantly would be really annoying, and I also am not a huge fan of Amazon in general, when it comes to spending my money on books. ![]() The issue is that in terms of e-readers, Kindle is supposedly better. I really liked my Kindle, but the issue is that I mostly download books online from torrent sites or through my university library, and they're mostly EPUB or PDF, and I've heard Amazon doesn't accept EPUB so it's necessary to convert it in that case. I haven't used an e-reader in years, so I'm pretty unfamiliar with what's out there these days (apparently Nook is no longer out on the market? I'm not quite sure). I'm looking to get a new e-reader, but I haven't had one since my 2nd or 3rd generation Kindle in 2012, which lasted a while but no longer works. ![]()
